Stained glass – a mysterious, old art, often associated with majestic medieval cathedrals and churches or monumental artworks seen in public spaces such as theaters and concert halls.
„Vitražo Manufaktūra“ – a specialized glass gallery located in Vilnius old town – invites you to take a fresh look on stained glass and its‘ visual expression. The gallery is holding a contemporary Lithuanian stained glass exhibition dedicated to celebrate the 140th anniversary of birth of the legendary Lithuanian artist Mykalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. The exhibition, which is taking place in authentic cellars of 16th century, represents the most celebrated contemporary Lithuanian glass artists such as Konstantinas Šatūnas, Ieva Paltanavičiūtė, Nerijus Baublys, Rasa Grybaitė and others. We invite you to unveil the mysteries of stained glass and experience its‘ unseen modern side for yourself.
